Cracked your cooktop? We cut Schott Ceran (and equivalent) ceramic cooktop glass to your exact dimensions. Most jobs ship in 7 days.
Cooktop glass is a specialty ceramic — not regular tempered glass. It has to handle direct heat, thermal shock, and decades of use. Chicago Glass Company sources Schott Ceran (the German-made original) and compatible ceramic plates, then cuts them to your appliance's exact specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same as my original?
It's similar to the OEM glass — equivalent ceramic, equivalent thermal rating, custom-cut to your appliance's dimensions. We do NOT supply branded factory parts. If your warranty requires OEM, source through the appliance manufacturer.
How do I measure?
Remove the old cooktop glass (unscrew from underneath) and measure length × width to the nearest 1/16". Photograph the burner cutouts with a tape measure visible. Email photos to service@chicagoglasscompany.com after ordering.
Will the burner markings be reproduced?
Yes — silkscreened burner markings included if you provide a clear photo of the original. Add $25 per cooktop for custom markings.
What if I don't know my model number?
Photograph the data plate (usually under the cooktop or behind a drawer). We'll identify it.
How long until I'm cooking again?
7 business days standard. Rush available — call (708) 800-7120.
What about induction cooktops?
Induction cooktops use the same ceramic — induction works through it. Order the Induction Cooktop variant and tell us your dimensions.
