Why is wire glass so hard to find?
Most distributors stopped carrying it after the code change to impact-rated safety glass. We still stock both Georgian and Diamond patterns for restoration and matching jobs.

Is wire glass fire rated?
Traditional polished wire glass holds a 45-minute fire rating in some assemblies, but it does NOT meet impact safety glazing per CPSC 16 CFR 1201. Check your local code.

Can I match an existing piece?
